UK Milani Haul! ♡

Living in London, although I am super blessed to be surrounded by fashion and beauty stores everywhere, there are still certain things that are harder to get hold of - namely a few US drugstore beauty brands. I always see girls from the US raving about Milani in YouTube videos and on their blogs, and I really wanted to get my hands on some Milani products, but sadly nowhere in the UK officially sells Milani. You can probably imagine my excitement when I was browsing on Amazon UK one day and saw that Milani products are actually sold there by some suppliers at quite decent prices! I made an order for three blushes straight away and they arrived in my mail a few days ago :D

I know that Milani is super famous for their baked blushes so I ordered two of them and they are both absolutely gorgeous. The first one I picked up is in this beautiful reddish corally colour called Corallina. This blush is very highly pigmented and the colour payoff is amazing. One thing I noticed though is that this blush is also extremely glittery. If you are not a fan of anything with too much shimmer/ glitter, you might be a little scared to put this on. However, I think this blush would be perfect for a night out or for a special occasion where you don't mind shining a little more ♡

The second baked blush I picked up is in the oh-so-famous Luminoso colour - which is a pinkish coral colour. I have to say - I definitely agree with the hype out there because this blush is BEAUTIFUL! Do not underestimate how the blush looks in its pan because that is exactly the colour you would see on your cheeks when you apply it (if you have medium to fair skin). The colour payoff is crazy! I would definitely compare the quality of these blushes to the Nars and MAC mineralise blushes. One thing though is that this blush was cracked when I received it in the mail :( Amazon clearly did not do a very good job packaging it! However, this does not make me love the blush any less :D I find myself to be reaching for this blush everyday since I got it and this is definitely becoming one of my staples ♡

The last product I got is this Illuminating Face Powder in Beauty's Touch and I mainly picked this up because of the packaging - how pretty are these rose prints?! I would describe this product as more of a light powdery pink blush instead of an illuminating face powder because none of the shades in this powder are that shimmery at all and it is hard to use a single colour on its own because of how randomly placed the colours are. The colour payoff of this powder is not half as great as the baked blushes but I think this is still a good product when you want a very subtle blush for everyday ♡

And at last here are the swatches! ♡ (From left to right - Corallina, Illuminating Face Powder in Beauty's Touch, Luminoso) On the whole I am definitely head over heels in love with Milani blushes and I think that they are the best drugstore blushes I have ever tried. The colour payoff (for the baked blushes) is again comparable to high-end blushes and I definitely recommend these blushes to anyone. I can't wait to try the other colours in this range and hopefully Amazon won't crack my blushes next time!!
