Room Makeover! London Edition ♡

With university starting again and me now being in the second year of my degree, I have moved out from my student accommodation last year to a completely new apartment in London with one of my best friends :) When we first moved in, both my room and my housemate's room were nearly completely empty - with each of us having just a double bed and a single sized Ikea wardrobe in our rooms. I did a little bit of work, added in a few pieces of furniture, and now my room is feeling as homey as ever! Here is what I did with my room! ♡

As you can see from the photo above ~
♡ White four drawers dresser from Argos
♡ White photo frame from Poundland (It is empty at the moment but I am thinking of putting a black  and white photo inside!)
♡ Silver glitter mini photo frame from Next Home
♡ Mirror from Argos
♡ Jewellery stand was gifted to me but you can find similar ones at Marks and Spencer

♡ Fake flowers from a dollar store in Hong Kong!
♡ DIY vase: I peeled the paper packaging off a spaghetti sauce jar and glued 4 strips of silver ribbons on it :)

I am using the first drawer of my dresser to store my makeup and nail polishes ~
♡ Grey cutlery organiser which I am using to store makeup from Poundland
♡ Clear trays on the right which I am using to store makeup and nail polishes from Muji

My study area ~
♡ White desk and chair from Argos
♡ Paris inspired deskpad/ weekly organiser from Paperchase
♡ Pen holder/ organiser from Muji
♡ Ipad holder from LUXA2 (with my Alice in Wonderland book underneath!)
♡ Pink diary from Paperchase
♡ Cork-board from a dollar store in Hong Kong (but I have also seen some in Poundland!)

Clothing and shoe storage ~
♡ Single wardrobe without door from Ikea (I added a sheer curtain which I got from Primark and two storage drawers at the bottom from Muji!)
♡ Shoe racks stacked on top of each other from Argos

Book and movie storage ~
♡ White bookcase from Argos
♡ Fairy lights from Primark

  2. Looks so lovely! I really need a better make up store, I love the idea of using a cutlery holder - such a great idea!! x
